Service Period Type

Enter W or M to indicate whether the service period type is weekly or monthly.

Entitlement Unit Type

Display only. The entitlement unit type.

Allow Override Service Date

Select this check box to allow override of service start date.

Enter the number of service periods for which you are defining an absence entitlement. This is used in conjunction with the following field, that is, if you enter 2 in this field and the Type field displays a M, the specified entitlement is applicable after 2 months.

Type

Display only. The service period as defined above.

Per

Enter up to three standard entitlement periods in weeks, days or hours, which is determined by the specified unit type.

%

Enter a corresponding percentage of pay for each entitlement period specified, for example, 100% for full pay, 50% for half pay, etc.

Flat Rate

Enter the flat rate amount.

W Period

Enter the minimum entitlement in entitlement units, below which an end of entitlement warning message is displayed.

Note: The additional field in Expand mode is only available if an additional rollback period has been defined in Rollback Method.

Additional Periods

Enter up to three additional entitlement periods in weeks, days or hours, which is determined by the specified unit type. These periods should be the same or longer than the equivalent standard periods that you have defined. The pay percentage specified against the standard periods apply to the equivalent additional periods.
