Enables you to calculate the amount of backdated pay that is due to be paid to each employee.

Backpay Set

Identifies the set of backpay parameters you would like to use to perform the calculation.

Enter a backpay set code, or click WINDOW. The backpay set codes available for selection are set up using Backpay Parameter Set Maintenance.

Process

Enter R if you only want to produce a Backpay Summary report or U to update employee details and print the report. Output Selection is then displayed for you to select the report output options and print the report.

Note: It is strongly recommend that you always run the report first without updating any employee records so that you can check that the backpay totals are as you expected. If they are not, you may need to amend the backpay parameters, before running the report again. Only update the employees, when you are absolutely sure that the backpay amounts are correct.
