The Bulk Amendment – Holiday Detail parameter screen lets you change holiday entitlement details for multiple employees.
You should do this:
- When service conditions change.
- At year-end, to set up all employees’ holiday entitlements for the following year.
Note: If the entitlement type (daily or hourly) for the previous year is different to the entitlement year being processed, no holiday is carried forward.
These details can be maintained for individual employees in Holiday Entitlement.
General
Entitlement Period Start Year
Enter the year when the new holiday entitlement starts, or select it from the drop-down list.
Daily Entitlement
Extra Days
Enter the number of extra days you want to add to the normal holiday entitlement.
Bring Forward Extra Days
Enter Y to award the same number of extra days as last year. You cannot enter Y if you made an entry in the Extra Days field.
Bring Forward Days Left
Enter Y to add the number of days holiday remaining from the previous year to this year’s holiday entitlement.
Hourly Entitlement
Extra Hour
Enter the number of extra hours you want to add to the normal holiday entitlement.
Bring Forward Extra Hour
Enter Y to award the same number of extra hours as last year. You cannot enter Y if you made an entry in the Extra Hour field.
Bring Forward Hours Left
Enter Y to add the number of hours holiday remaining from the previous year to this year’s holiday entitlement.
