Enables you to set up and maintain the payslip groups you require. Payslip groups enable you to reduce a number of similar pay elements into a single line on payslips. For example, if you have several different rates of overtime, you may want these grouped together as a single entry on payslips, ‘overtime’.

Note: You can view the pay elements currently attached to the payslip group via this screen, but you must use Pay Element Descriptions to include individual pay elements in payslip groups.

Selection

Payslip Group

Enter the ID of the payslip group that you want to maintain, or select one by clicking WINDOW to display Payslip Group Selection.

If the payslip group does not exist, a prompt is displayed allowing you to create the new payslip group.

General

Long, Short Description

Enter full and abbreviated descriptions respectively, to represent this payslip group throughout the system.

Alternative Description

Enter an alternative description which is displayed on the payslip. If you leave this field blank, the long description is displayed on the payslip.

Payslip Languages

Click WINDOW to display Foreign Languages, where you can specify descriptions for the payslip group in other languages, which can be used on payslips.

Attached Pay Elements

Click WINDOW to display Pay Elements in Group, where you can view all pay elements that are attached to this payslip group.

Obsolete Date

Enter the date on which this payslip group becomes obsolete.

Click this button to display Maintain Note Detail, where you can enter any notes or comments you want to record.
