This window enables you to maintain the Background Checking parameters used throughout the system for requesting checks and maintaining returned data.

Background Checking Credentials

Username

Enter the username supplied to you when you registered with Background Checking.

Password

Enter the password supplied to you when you registered with Background Checking.

Agency ID

Enter the Agency ID supplied to you when you registered with Background Checking.

Email Addresses

Admin Email

Enter the email address to be used for Background Checking service/error notifications. Distribution List addresses are permitted.

Default Email

Enter the email address to be used for Background Checking report notifications if the email address of the operator making the request does not exist. Distribution List addresses are permitted.

Always Default?

Enter the email address to be used as a default for report notifications if the email address of the operator making the request should always be ignored.

Provider

ResourceLink Naming Provider

Enter the URL of the IP address and port details of the ResourceLink Naming Provider. These details are used by ResourceLink to connect to the JBoss® web application via SSO.

Scheduling

Scheduling Enabled

Select this check box to enable the scheduled processing of Background Checking requests.

Schedule Start Time

Enter the time you wish the scheduled request to begin, in the HH:MM format.

Schedule Interval

Enter the schedule interval, in minutes.

Note: Scheduling is only allowed at system level. Multiple subsidiaries cannot define scheduling at varying intervals for each subsidiary.

Doc Storage

Note: The following three fields are only enabled if Doc Storage is licensed. If Doc Storage is not licensed, you will receive the reports from Background Checking via email.

Use Doc Storage

Select this check box to enable the Background Checking reports to be stored in Doc Storage.

Doc Storage Category

Enter a Doc Storage category or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the narrative category specified in Doc Storage Categories.

Naming Provider

Enter the Doc Storage naming provider.

Status/Other Flags

Default Request Status

Enter the default Employment Check Request status or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the PPCRLS narrative category. You can set up additional options in this narrative category via Background Checking User-Defined Status Codes.

Note: User-defined statuses are only applicable once the Employment Check Request status is Final.

Multiple Subsidiaries

Select this check box if your company has multiple subsidiaries.

'Nobureau' Emp/App/Ext

Select the relevant check box to prevent a No Bureau Employee, Applicant or External Person check request.

Note: A 'bureau' check is publicly available information, such as a driving licence number, so may not be required. No interim reports will be generated by Background Checking if the Nobureau Emp check box is selected.

Contact Emp/App/Ext

Select the relevant check box to permit Background Checking to contact the Employee, Applicant or External Person directly if a problem should occur with the check.
