Time Management Access Level
Enables you to define manager and employee access levels to individual absence and attendance types in the Time Management module for the selected security profile:
- When this window is empty, that is, it does not have any access levels defined, managers and employees have full access to all absence and attendance types within the Time Management module.
- When access levels have been defined for one or more absence / attendance types, access to all other absence / attendance types is set to No Access for managers and employees.
To access this window, enter fast path HRPROFILE, enter the Profile ID and select MyView and then Time Mgmnt in the navigation panel.
Paging Area
Absence / Attendance Type
Enter the ID of the absence or attendance type for which you want to define access levels, or select one from the drop-down list.
Description
Display only. The description of the selected absence or attendance type.
Manager Access
Select one of the following access levels from the drop-down list to control the manager's access to the selected absence or attendance type:
- No Access - absence and attendance types with this access level cannot be selected when adding new records; existing records for these absence and attendance types are not visible in the Time Management module.
- View Only Access - absence and attendance types with this access level cannot be selected when adding new records; existing records for these absence and attendance types are visible and can be viewed throughout the Time Management module, but cannot be updated or deleted.
- Update Access - absence and attendance types with this access level are fully accessible within the Time Management module and records can be added, changed and deleted as required.
- Add - absence and attendance types with this access level can be selected when adding new records; existing records for these absence and attendance types are visible and can be viewed throughout the Time Management module, but cannot be updated or deleted.
- Add & Edit - absence and attendance types with this access level can be selected when adding new records; existing records for these absence and attendance types are visible and can be viewed and updated throughout the Time Management module, but cannot be deleted.
Restrict
This field is only enabled for absence types that have the access level set to Add & Edit. Enter Y to prevent the manager amending the absence start date, or leave blank to allow the manager to amend the absence start date.
Employee Access
Select one of the above access levels from the drop-down list to control the employee's access to the selected absence or attendance type.
Restrict
This field is only enabled for absence types that have the access level set to Add & Edit. Enter Y to prevent the employee amending the absence start date, or leave blank to allow the employee to amend the absence start date.
Mob Abs Type
This field is only enabled for absence types. Enter the Mobile Absence Type to use for the Absence, or select one from the drop down list.
Button
Abs Type Group
This button is only displayed when the Enable Absence Grouping check box in Time Management Parameters is selected. Click this button to display Absence Grouping Security Level, where you can define manager and employee access levels to individual absence groups in the Time Management module for the selected security profile.
