ResourceLink Web Process Parameters
Enables you to define system parameters used in the web processes (SLC and MyTeam).
To access this window, enter fast path HR97S8 to access System Control , then select User Control > Web Applications > MyView > Process Parameters.
SLC Parameters
Post Transfer Reason
Enter the ID of the post transfer reason that is used when transferring posts using SLC, or select one by clicking window to display Dependency Selection. The options are set up in the RSNCHG narrative category. Leave this field blank to use the default post transfer reason of TRAN.
MyTeam Parameters
Working Time Regulations
Enter the current contract hours per week as stated by the Working Time Regulation (WTR). This field is used in MyTeam to validate the number of contracted hours per week to ensure they comply with the current WTR.
Standard Weeks Per Year
Enter the standard number of weeks in a year. The value in this field is used to calculate the annual salary for hourly rated grades (spinal salary with a rated pay element) in MyTeam.
Company FTE Hours
Enter your company's standard FTE hours. The value in this field is used to calculate the annual salary for salaried grades (basic salary with a Normal Pay element) in MyTeam where FTE hours have not been specified against the employee’s job or post.
Future Dated Joiners
Enter the number of weeks in the future that you want future dated joiners to be included in the MyTeam selection screens. This enables managers to view and amend employee and employment details for new starters. You can enter a maximum of 12 weeks. If you enter 0, only current employees are shown in the MyTeam selection screens.
For example, if you enter 2, any future dated joiners whose start date is within 2 weeks of the current date will be included in the MyTeam selection screens.
Use system/post legn.
Select this check box to default the legislation type for a new starter to either the system default or the post default when creating a new starter via MyTeam. When this check box is selected, the MyView Starter Legislation field in Post Additional Details is displayed, where you can specify the default legislation type for a post if the system default is not to be used.
Hide employee detail
Select this check box to hide the employees within a post in the MyTeam post selection screen to make the list of posts easier to navigate.
Error for missing bank details
Select this check box to display an error if an employee’s mandatory bank details are not provided in the MyTeam Onboarding, Change Employee Details, or New Joiners processes.
Allow Current Grade for Move
Select this check box to include the employee's current grade of the post holding in the grade selection list in MyTeam when the employee is transferring posts. This setting overrides any grade dependencies or restrictions that have been defined for the grade selection list in MyTeam.
Allow Current Grade for Change
Select this check box to include the employee's current grade of the post holding in the grade selection list in MyTeam when changing the employee's details. This setting overrides any grade dependencies or restrictions that have been defined for the grade selection list in MyTeam.
Allow Changes in Pay Cycle
Enter the ID of the pay cycle option that you want to apply when updating employee details in MyTeam and SLC, or select one of the following from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the PRCPAY narrative category.
- ALL - this option allows employee details to be updated in all web processes for employees who are in the pay cycle.
- EMPLEE - this option allows employee details to be updated in the MyTeam EMPLEEDTLS Change Employee Details process for employees who are in the pay cycle. All other web processes are as the NONE option.
- NONE - this option does not allow employee details to be updated in any web processes for employees who are in the pay cycle.
Allow Future Changes
This check box is not applicable if the above field is set to ALL. Select this check box to allow changes to be made in MyTeam and SLC where the effective date of the change is after the current pay period end date.
Attach Pay Elements to EMPLOYEE
Select this check box to attach all fixed pay elements created via MyTeam to the EMPLOYEE post. Leave this check box blank to attach all fixed pay elements created via MyTeam to the employee's post-holding used in the process.
Search Hier Levels
Enter the number of hierarchy levels to show for post transfers to limit the post selection list. Enter 0 to only show posts that report directly to the manager's post(s).
MyTeam Post Linking
Display Previous Posts
Select this check box to enable linked posts to be viewed within MyTeam processes. Previous and current posts are automatically linked when an employee is transferred to a new post using one of the transfer type processes (MyTeam or SLC).
Allow Employment Changes
Select this check box if the employee’s future manager can make changes to the employee’s current employment record during the period when the transfer has been processed but the transfer date has not yet been reached.
The employee’s current manager can make changes to the employee’s employee details up to the transfer date irrespective of this setting.
HR Interface Parameters
Process Holiday Entl
Select this check box if an employee's entitlement should automatically be updated when employee data is imported using the following HR Interface record types: 50LEAVER, 60APPOINT, 80POST and 85POSTDETAIL.
Auto Abs/Att Transfer
Select this check box to automatically process future-dated absences and attendances when a post change occurs, a post is end-dated or an employee is terminated via a MyTeam transfer or leaver process, or a HR Interface import. Absences and attendances are processed as follows:
- MyTeam Transfer processes and HR Interface imports that change an employee's post: any absences and attendances that occur on or after the effective date of change are split between the old and new posts (spans effective date) or transferred to the new post (after effective date).
- MyTeam Leaver processes and HR Interface imports that end-date an employee's post or terminates an employee: any absences and attendances that occur on or after the effective date of change are end-dated as of the post / employment end-date (spans effective date) or deleted (after effective date).
When this check box is selected, the MyTeam Planned Absence and Attendance form is hidden in all MyTeam processes, even if it is set to be displayed as absences and attendances are automatically processed.
