Supervisor Control
Enables the system Supervisor to perform operator administration tasks, and broadcast a message to everyone logged on to the system. For example, the message could be used to inform everyone they must log off by a certain time or that a new release of software is available.
To access this screen, enter fast path HR97S7.
General
Send Broadcast Message
Set up a message and send it to all operators currently logged on to the system.
The message will be displayed to all users logged in Web View in the top right of the UI beneath their username.
Enter Y to type your message. If you enter C, the existing message is removed.
Sys. Message
1, 2, 3
Enter the message that you want to broadcast to all operators, which can be up to three lines long. Press RETURN at the end of a line to move the cursor down to the next line.
General
Message Active Until Date
Enter the date up until which you want the message displayed to the operators. If left blank, the system message will not be sent.
Time
The message is displayed to the operators until the time specified in this field. Enter a time in hours, minutes and seconds using the 24 hour clock, e.g. 4.30pm is entered as 163000.
Operator Admin
View Active Operators
Click WINDOW to display Review Logged-On Operators, where you can view details of those operators who are logged on to the system.
Lock System
Enter Y to lock the system, which ensures only supervisors can access the system while it is locked. You may want to lock the system if work is being carried out on the machine, or if the system needs to be restored during normal working hours.
Note: Operators currently logged onto the system are not automatically logged off. You must broadcast a message to active operators requesting them to end their session. You can use Review Logged-On Operators to ensure everyone has logged off, before locking the system.
Note: The system remains locked until you enter N in the Lock System field.
Logoff All Operators
Enter Y to log all other operators off the system.
Employee Count
Click window to display Current/Licensed Employee Count, where you can view details of the current number and the licensed number of employees.
