Copy Process Definition
Enables you to create a new process by copying an existing process. Everything in the selected existing process is copied, and this is therefore useful if you need to create a new process based on an existing process that has been extensively customised.
Selection
Existing Process ID
Enter the ID of the process that you want to copy or select one from the drop-down list.
Existing Process
Template ID
Display only. The name of the process template on which the existing process was based.
Short Desc, Long Desc
Display only. The short and long descriptions of the existing process.
Title
Display only. The title of the existing process.
Create Date
Display only. The date on which the existing process was created.
New Process
New Process ID
Enter the ID of the new process that you want to create based on the selected existing process.
Short Desc
Enter a short description of the new process.
Long Desc
Enter a long description of the new process.
Title
Enter the title of the new process.
Create Date
Enter the creation date to use for the new process. This defaults to today's date.
Click COMMIT to create the new process by copying the existing process. You can then make any amendments to the newly created process via Process Definition.
