Employee Remuneration Package
Note: The Remuneration Packages area of functionality is in the process of being removed from ResourceLink and will be completely removed in a future release. In it's place, it is recommended that customers use the Employee Flexible Benefits functionality.
Enables you to assign a remuneration package to an employee and to model the package.
Note: Once package modelling is finished, the changes to the employee’s options must be authorised to apply them to their pay. This is carried out by an authorised person, typically the employee’s manager, using Event Authorisation.
Paging Area
Eff Date
Enter the date when the remuneration package becomes effective.
Post
Enter the ID of the post to which the package applies, or select one by clicking window to display Post Selection. This does not have to be a post currently held by the employee.
Package
Enter the remuneration package that is to provide a basis for the employee’s package, or select one by clicking window to display Package Selection.
The default is the package that is linked to the selected post, but you can enter or select a different package if required.
St.
Display only. One of the following status codes is displayed:
| O | Open. Allows the package to be changed, and stops the package from being authorised for release. |
| C | Closed. Stops the package from being changed, and allows the package to be authorised for release. |
| A | Authorised. The package has been authorised by the manager and is awaiting release by HR. |
| R | Released. The package has been released to Payroll by HR. |
Max Value
Enter the maximum value allowed for the remuneration package. When you model the package, a warning is displayed if the modelled value exceeds the maximum value. The default for the package is displayed initially, but you can override this if required.
Detail
Click WINDOW to display Employee Remuneration Package Options, where you can model the various elements of the package.
Notes
Click window to display Maintain Note Detail, where you can enter any notes or comments you want to record.
