Enables you to set up an alternative work pattern for calculating holiday entitlements, if required.

Note: It is not mandatory to have a work pattern for holiday entitlement.

To access this window, enter fast path HREMPALL, select Holiday Entitlement > Work Pattern from the navigation panel

Work Pattern

The employee’s work pattern linked to the service conditions. If required, you can enter a different work pattern or select one from the drop-down list.

If the field is populated, the work pattern is used to calculate the working days when booking a holiday.

The sequence used by ResourceLink to try to find a work pattern to use in holiday booking is as follows:

  1. Work pattern in Maintain Employee Holiday Basic Detail.
  2. Work pattern in Employee Post Holding Details.
  3. Work pattern in Employee Detail Without Post.

Offset

Enter the number of offset days. The work pattern starts on a Sunday, so the offset is calculated as the number of days after the Sunday that the employee started, for example, if the employee started on the Tuesday, enter 2. When an employee’s post changes, if the entitlement also changes, this figure enables the system to calculate remaining holiday based on the correct starting point in the work pattern.

Start Date

Display only. Holiday year start date.

Day of Week

Display only. The day of the week corresponding to the employee start date.
