Enables you to set up and maintain certain employment details for individual employees, including work patterns, contract hours and service conditions if you do not maintain employee post details on the system. If you do maintain post details, you should use Post Holding Detail to maintain these employment details against posts.

To access this screen, enter fast path HREMPALL and select the employee, then select Detail without Post in the navigation panel.

Detail

Position Status

Click WINDOW to display Employee Position Status where you can link a position status to the employee, or change the current position status. An entry in this field is mandatory if the selected post is the main post. The position status indicates the employment basis, such as full-time, full-time management, part-time, temporary. The options are set up in the POSTPS narrative category.

Work Pattern

Click WINDOW to display Employee Work Patterns where you can maintain work patterns for the employee. The work pattern you specify can be set to apply at all times, or for a specified period.

Location

Click WINDOW to display Employee Location where you can maintain locations at which the employee has been based whilst in employment.

Contract Hours

Even if you have specified a work pattern (which gives hours to be worked each week) in the field above, the employee’s contract of employment might impose a different number of hours to be worked. If so, click WINDOW to display the Employee Contract Hours where you can enter the number of hours to be worked per week according to the contract.

Service Condition

Click WINDOW to display Employee Service Conditions where you can link a service condition to the employee, or change the current service condition.

Projected End Date

Enter the employee's projected end date. This date is referenced when calculating leave entitlements for EMPLOYEE posts. Projected End Date Reason is displayed upon entering a date, where you can specify the reason for the projected end date.

Note: If you make changes that affect an employee’s holiday entitlement, you are prompted to Re-calculate Holiday Entitlement. If you click Yes, the holiday entitlement is recalculated and Display Holiday Entitlement Changes is displayed.

Apprentice Start Date

Enter the start date of the employee's apprenticeship.

Apprentice End Date

Enter the end date of the employee's apprenticeship.

Note: An employee is considered to currently be an apprentice for National Minimum Wage rates if they have an entry for the Apprentice Start Date and either no End Date or an End Date that is in the future.

Applicable for NI

Select this check box to indicate that the employee is on a Government Approved Apprenticeship scheme and therefore eligible for the Apprenticeship NI categories.

Gender Pay Gap Scheme

This field is only displayed for employees with an IE legislation type. Click window to access ROI GPG Employee Schemes and maintain the gender pay gap scheme for the employee.

Proj End History

Click this button to display Projected End Date Reason History, where you can view a history of projected end dates and reasons for the employee.
