Calculate Payments

When set to Y, the system will pre-populate the fields of the Pay Period View and the Weekly View based on the figures entered for the employee's Normal and Average Pay.

For parental bereavement leave, the normal pay is calculated as at the bereavement date. The average earnings are derived by taking an average of earnings over a period of at least eight weeks up to and including the last payday before the end of the relevant week. This is the same calculation that is done for the other types of parental leave payments where the average of earnings is taken over the relevant period that leads up to the end of the qualifying week.

Note: These figures are for guidance only and they will be recalculated at the time that the pay cycle in question is terminated.
