Process Absence
Enables you to pay the absence or record the absence.
Payments
Absence Pay
Display only. The value of the absence payment.
Contra Pay
Display only. The total value of the contra payment if made.
Total Units Ded
Display only. The total number of entitlement units deducted.
Total Units Paid
Display only. The total number of entitlement units paid.
General
Pay or Record
Enter P or R to indicate whether the absence is paid or recorded:
- If you record the absence, the absence details are recorded against the entitlements, but the employee’s pay is not affected.
- If you pay the absence, Employee Absence Periods is displayed and indicates in which periods the temporary pay will be posted.

Click this button to continue. You are either returned to Post Absence General Details, or Employee Absence Periods is displayed, depending on the entry in the Pay or Record field.
