Maintain CA Form History
Enables you to view details of CA forms that have been automatically produced, or to manually request forms for a member.
Automatic production of these forms is controlled by changes in status within a pension scheme. See Maintain Pension Status.
This section explains how you request and complete a CA form manually. This may be necessary when the CA request an amendment to a form that you have previously supplied. Requested CA forms can then be included in an interface file ready to be sent to HMRC.
When you produce CA forms for a member with a single membership period, the Maintain CA Form History screen shows the details of CA forms for this period. If the member has more than one membership period, you must choose the one you require. When you select the required membership period, any details of previously produced CA forms for that period are shown on the Maintain CA Form History screen.
General
Membership Period Start Date, End Date
The start and end dates of the selected membership period. If no end date is shown, the membership period is open and the scheme still has a liability to the member.
Date Joined C/O Employment
The date that the member contracted out for this period is shown, where applicable.
National Insurance Code History
Click WINDOW to display the member’s National Insurance history details. This is a display-only window. The details shown in this window reflect the National Insurance data entered in the member’s Employee National Insurance History screen.
Paging Area
CA Form
Enter the form code of the required CA form, or select one by clicking WINDOW to display Select CA Form.
Man
Display only. This field displays M if the information for the form is entered manually, or A if the system automatically completes the form.
Void
Enter Y if the form is void (i.e. it has been output with incorrect information). This field is automatically completed if a form has been voided by the system (e.g. by a reversal).
Note: If a form is void, update of the Manual Issue Date and Detail is not allowed.
Issue Date
Enter the date the form was sent out if a copy of the form was completed by hand.
Detail
When you request a form that must be completed manually, click WINDOW to display Maintain CA Forms Detail. If the form has been created automatically, click WINDOW to view the information output to the form.
Count
Display only. The number of times the CA form has been sent to HMRC.
Date
Display only. The date the interface file was received back from HMRC.
Additional
Click EXPAND to display the full description of the type of form produced. The description is only shown where forms already have been produced.
