Pay Element Access
Enables you to specify pay element categories, which are used to control the pay elements displayed in MyTeam and SLC processes, and the Transfers module. The pay elements displayed are restricted to the pay elements contained in the specified categories, depending on the add and edit settings.
MyView checks the security profile first for any pay element categories, and if none exist, checks the job definition. If pay element categories have not been specified against either the security profile or the job definition, then the full list of pay elements is displayed for selection.
To access this window, enter fast path HRPROFILE, enter the Profile ID and select MyView > Manager Access > PE Filter in the navigation panel.
Note: Pay elements attached to a post that an employee is being transferred into will still be attached to the new post even if they cannot be seen as a result of these settings. Similarly, pay elements attached to a post that an employee is transferring out of will still be closed.

Enter the ID of the pay element category that contains the required pay elements, or select one from the drop-down list.
Description
Display only. The long description of the selected pay element category.
Add
Enter Y if pay elements within this category can be added in MyView. If this field is blank, pay elements within this category are not available for selection when adding pay elements to an employee.
Edit
Enter Y if pay elements within this category can be amended in MyView. If this field is blank, pay elements within this category cannot be amended.
