Talent and Performance Parameters
Enables you to define system parameters used in the Talent and Performance module.
General Parameters
Review Start
Enter the default start date of the review period in the format DDMM.
Review End
Enter the default end date of the review period in the format DDMM.
Allow Emp Delete, Stop Default Delete
These two check boxes are used in conjunction with each other to determine which review items can be deleted as follows:
- Both check boxes selected - the delete option is only available for objectives, standards, and development plans that were added after the review was created.
- Both check boxes unselected - the delete option is unavailable for employees, but is available for managers for all objectives, standards, and development plans.
- Allow Emp Delete selected / Stop Default Delete unselected - the delete option is available for all objectives, standards and development plans.
- Allow Emp Delete unselected / Stop Default Delete selected - the delete option is unavailable for employees, and is only available for managers for objectives, standards, and development plans that were added after the review was created.
Indicate Mandatory
Select this check box if mandatory sections should be indicated in the MyView Talent and Performance module with a red asterisk.
Email Notifications
Click Window to display Non Staged PDR Email Notifications, where you can select the email templates to be used to notify the employee and manager when a non-staged review is saved.
Message on Exit
Click window to display Maintain Web Notes, where you can enter the text that should be displayed when an employee exits the Talent and Performance module without saving their changes.
Section Display
M/O/H
Enter O if this section is optional, M if this section is mandatory or H if this section is hidden in MyView. The Close Review section is always displayed, and you can only choose whether it is optional or mandatory.
Note: If the HR Career Plan review section is set to display, you must also ensure the HR Career Plan manager report is accessible to the manager via Manager Reports for this review section to be available in the Talent and Performance module.
Priority
Enter a number from 1 to 999 to determine the order in which the section should appear in MyView within a header section (Mandatory or Optional). The review sections are ordered so that the lowest number has the highest priority. Priority numbers must be unique within a header section.
Note: If you want to change settings for a section, other than the label, you must delete and re-add the section.
Section
Display only. The default name of the section.
RLA
Enter a mnemonic for this review section (up to three characters), which is used to identify the review section in Maintain Reviews.
MyView Section Label
Enter the label that you would like displayed for this section in MyView.
Params
Click window to display one of the following parameter windows, where you can maintain parameters specific to the selected review section:
- Aspirational Career Plan Parameters
- Competency Framework Parameters
- Development Plan Parameters
- Objectives Parameters
- Performance Summary Parameters
