Enables you to maintain the Web View module parameters.

To access this window, enter fast path HR97S8 and choose User Control > Web Applications > Web View.

Embedded Branding

MyView URL

Enter the URL of the branding pack that you want to use to brand MyView when it is running within the Web View module - this is case sensitive and can be entered as a server relative path, for example, /branding/ or as an absolute path, for example, http://machine.domain.com/branding. Leave this field blank if you want to keep the default MyView branding.

Note: MyView is not displayed correctly if the branding pack cannot be located.

Dashboard

Maximum Columns

Enter the maximum number of columns permitted on the dashboard in the Web View module. This is the maximum number you can enter in the Column field in Dashboard Options.

Maximum Tabs

Enter the maximum number of tabs that a user can have open simultaneously within Web View. Defaults to 6.

Default Tasks

The following fields include the standard tasks by default, but you can enter customer specific tasks if you do not use the standard tasks.

Favourites

Enter the ID of the task to launch when maintaining favourites via the favourites component in the Web View module, or select one by clicking window to display Select Task.

Diary Item

Enter the ID of the task to launch when accessing a diary item via the calendar component in the Web View module, or select one by clicking window to display Select Task.

Operator Diary

Enter the ID of the task to launch when maintaining the operator's diary via the calendar component in the Web View module, or select one by clicking window to display Select Task.

Change Password

Enter the ID of the task to launch when changing an operator's password via the Change Password link in the Web View module, or select one by clicking window to display Select Task.

Banner Employee

Enter the ID of the task to launch when clicking the Banner Employee Task icon in Web View, or select one by clicking window to display Select Task.

Banner Post

Enter the ID of the task to launch when clicking the Banner Vacant Post icon in Web View, or select one by clicking window to display Select Task.

About ProIV

Enter the ID of the task to launch when the About ProIV link is selected in the Web View module banner.

About ResourceLink

Enter the ID of the task to launch when the About ResourceLink link is selected in the Web View module banner.

Optional Features

Enable Auto Offline

Select this check box to enable the automated Background / Offline processing of the following key processes:

Show Picture

Select this check box to display the person's photo in the banner details component in the Info Panel. Leave blank if you do not want the person's photo displayed.

Show Task Id

Select this check box to display the ID of the task alongside the screen ID in the banner in the Web View module. Leave blank to just display the screen ID.

Enable Accessibility Option

Select this check box to enable the option for users of Web View to use High Contrast mode, selectable on login. Web View High Contrast mode meets the criteria set by W3C for WCAG2.0 Minimum Contrast and Visibility standards and affects most areas of Web View including the Online Help.

Enable LinkedIn

Select this check box to display the person's LinkedIn profile link in the right hand panel of the Web View module and the Social Media button in the Personal Details screen. Leave blank if you do not want the person's profile link displayed.

Components

Click this button to display Web Components, where you can view the service URLs for the components within the Web View module.

Dashboard

Click this button to display Dashboard Widgets, where you can maintain the multi-lingual translation headings of all available dashboard widgets.

Org Charting

Click this button to display Organisational Chart Parameters, where you can specify settings related to Organisational Charts in Web View.

Security

Click this button to display Web View Security, where you can define the format of passwords used in the Web View module.

Workflow

Click this button to display Workflow, where you can select a Standard Date Group to be used for exclusion from Workflow duration calculations.

Messaging

Click this button to display Web View Messaging, where you can specify settings related to locked record messaging in Web View.
