Enables you to record the employee's aspirational career plans by either specifying an actual post they aspire to or an aspired to role. Aspirational career plans are not specific to a review period as they are about the employee and their future.

To access this window, enter fast path HR33S21, select Post Succession Plan from tne navigation panel and window in to the ACP field.

Paging Area

Area Aspired

Enter the Business area that the employee aspires to join, or select one from the drop down list.

Level Aspired

Enter the Business level that the employee aspires to join, or select one from the drop down list.

Actual Aspired

Enter the ID of the actual post they aspire to, or select one by clicking window to display Aspired Role Search.

Role Aspire To

Enter a free-format description of the role to which they aspire.

Obsolete Date

Enter the date when the aspiration is no longer relevant.

Preparatory Steps

Click window to display Maintain Web Notes, where you can view or record notes related to the preparatory steps taken to prepare for this post or role.

Date

Enter the date when the preparatory steps should be complete or were completed.

Status

Enter the status of the employee's progress with the preparatory steps, or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the PRPSTP narrative category.

Proposed Solution

Click window to display Maintain Web Notes, where you can view or record comments related to the proposed solutions to achieve this aspiration.

Date

Enter the date when the proposed solutions should be complete or were completed.

Status

Enter the status of the employee's progress with the proposed solutions, or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the PRPSOL narrative category.

Steps Taken

Click window to display Maintain Web Notes, where you can view or record comments related to the steps taken to achieve this aspiration.

Date

Enter the date when the steps taken should be complete or were completed.

Status

Enter the status of the employee's progress with the steps taken, or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the STPTKN narrative category.

Recommended Training

Click window to display Recommended Training Course Selection or Course Selection (depending on whether an actual post or a role has been specified) where you can select a training course that is relevant to achieving this aspiration.

Upon selecting a course, Course Event Selection is displayed, where you can select a scheduled course event (if available) to book the employee on, create a training requirement against the employee for the course if no suitable course events exist or add the career aspiration to the employee's development plan. Career aspirations are also added to the employee's development plan if a course event is booked or a training requirement is created.
