Enables you to assign N, P or R type pay elements to grades, jobs, posts, locations and control group parameters, which are then used as the default set of pay elements for all employees attached to the selected object.

Relevant default based pay elements are automatically added to the employee when one of the following events occur:

Note: The default based pay element is added against the post of EMPLOYEE, or the employee’s post holding, depending on the setting in the Element Level field in Miscellaneous Details.

In addition to being specified in this screen, the pay element must also be assigned to one of the following pay element categories to enable the pay element to be automatically added to an employee:

To access this window, enter fast path HRPOSTHRGRADE, or HRJOB and select Default Pay Elements from the navigation panel.

Display only. The pay element code.

Desc

Display only. The description of the pay element.

Amount, Units, Rate

Display only. The amount, units and rates values specified against the R type pay element in R Type Pay Elements.
