Enables you to maintain a waiting list for oversubscribed courses and to copy candidates to a course event. Candidates can also be added to the waiting list via Training Required.

Select Candidate (Course) might be empty, or it might list potential attendees, i.e. reserve candidates and those who have been nominated for it on Training Required. Those nominated for the course can be displayed in date required order.

Note: The system checks the course prerequisites when adding a candidate providing the MISC > TRAINING > PREREQ system parameter is set to Y, and displays a warning if the prerequisites are not met.

Selection

Copy/Allocate

Enter C to copy attendees from another course or A (the default) to allocate attendees individually.

You can add some attendees by copying from another course and others individually. Each time you return to this field, the Tag values are validated and any attendees flagged with Y are moved from this window to Course Attendees.

Copy Course ID

This field is mandatory if you entered C in the previous field, otherwise it is skipped. Click WINDOW to display Course Selection where you can select a course from which to copy attendees. If you use this feature, all the candidates (including reserves and those just on the waiting list) are displayed for you to select via the Tag field.

List All

Select this check box if search for candidates should display all candidates on the waiting list.

Click SEARCH to display the candidates available for selection. If List All is not selected, the Candidate Waiting List search and filter window will be displayed allowing a subset of the candidates on the waiting list to be selected.

Paging Area

When adding candidates to a course event, Candidate Search is displayed where you can search for specific candidates from all candidates including those not on the Waiting list.

Tag

Enter Y, N, T or U against each of the selected candidates, or select a value by clicking WINDOW to display Generic List Tagging Help Screen.

Any candidates you deleted from Course Attendees are listed here. Enter an appropriate tag to re-select them for the course.

Note: If the List All check box was de-selected and a sub-set of the candidates from the waiting list was selected, only the Y and N tags will be available.
