Employee Incident Details
Enables you to enter details of a new incident relating to the selected employee or external person.
Incident
Type
Enter the code of the type of incident, or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the INTYPE narrative category.
Kind
Enter the code of the kind of incident that occurred, or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the INKIND narrative category.
Details
Click window to display Cause of Incident, where you can record details of the cause of the incident, and specify any machinery or substances involved.
Injuries
Click window to display Employee Injuries, where you can enter details of any injuries that occurred as a result of the incident.
Location
Click window to display Incident Location, where you can enter details of the location where the incident occurred.
Incident Status
Status
Enter the code of the incident status, or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the INSTAT narrative category.
Further Action
Enter a code to indicate whether any further action was taken, or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the INFACT narrative category.
Reporting
Click window to display Incident Reporting Window, where you can enter details about reporting activities relating to the incident.
Safety Officer
Display only. The name of the Health & Safety officer who is current at the time of the incident. This field is only updated when the HSE Report Print is run for this incident.
Incident Costs
Compensation
Enter the amount of any compensation paid in respect of the incident.
Days Granted
Enter the number of days absence granted in respect of the absence. This is separate from any absence data entered via the Absence screens.
Damage Costs
Enter the cost of any damage caused by the incident.
Buttons
Authorities
Click this button to display Enforcing Authorities Informed, where you can enter details of when any relevant enforcing authorities were informed of the incident.
Witnesses
Click this button to display Incident Witnesses, where you can enter details of any witnesses and their contact details.
Dates
Click this button to display Incident Dates, where you can enter details about important dates relating to the current incident.
Assailant
Click this button to display Assailant Details, where you can enter details of the assailants if an abusive or violent incident has been reported.
User Fields
Click this button to display Simple User-Defined Field Data if user-defined fields have been set up by your system administrator. These are extra fields used to record additional information that are specific to your organisation.
Documents
This button is only enabled if Doc Storage is licensed. Click this button to display Web Portal Doc Storage, where you can view and upload documents against the incident in Doc Storage.
Notes
Click this button to display Maintain Web Notes, where you can enter any notes or comments you want to record.
