Enables you to view the employee’s OSP entitlement as of the selected date or end of the selected absence period for the selected employee's post.

General

Post

Enter the post for which you want to view absence details, or select one by clicking window to display Employee's Post Selection.

Start Date

This usually defaults to the latest sickness period within the selected post. Enter the start date of a period of sickness for which you want to view OSP details or select a period by clicking WINDOW to display Sickness Dates.

As At Date

Display only. The actual date to which the displayed OSP details apply. The system provides details for a date for which it can give accurate details. For example, if the Start Date you enter is within a closed sickness period, the system can only accurately calculate details for the whole period, and displays details as of the day after the period. If the Start Date is within an open-ended sickness period, the system can only accurately provide details for the day before the period, and therefore uses this date.

Service Condition

Display only. The employee’s service condition. The applicable set of OSP parameters are linked to this.

Service Start Date

The date when the employee joined your organisation is automatically displayed. If the employee’s OSP entitlement started later than this, enter the date.

OSP Exclusion Code

Enter an OSP exclusion code or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the OSPXCL narrative category.

Note: If the processed sickness period produces an OSP exclusion code, it is displayed in the OSP Exclusion Code field. For example, if the selected sickness / post runs out of OSP entitlement, an EXCLMT exclusion code is produced.

Details

This section displays the OSP details for the selected period of sickness or industrial injury.

Normal

Display only. The number of hours/days/weeks of entitlement paid at the percentage rate shown in the Sick / Ind Inj column. The system takes this figure from OSP Parameters Bands of Entitlement.

Additional

Additional entitlement hours/days/weeks. If required, you can increase the entitlement days for any of the entitlement bands by entering a figure in this column.

Taken

Display only. The number of sickness absence hours/days/weeks taken by the employee during the absence period.

Remaining

Display only. Remaining hours/days/weeks = Normal + Additional – Taken.
