Absence Parameters

Note: The settings specified in the employee's control group are used unless they are overridden at employee level.

Multi-Post Absence

Enter Y if multi-post leave periods can be recorded against the employee.

If set to N, the employee may only use single post leave periods. This will override the control group settings.

Abs Service Start

Enter one of the following to specify the date that should be used to calculate the employee's length of service:

Use Leave Management

Select this check box if absence entitlement lines should be created and updated in the Leave Management module for this employee.

Delay Termination

Enter Y to delay the processing of the employee’s outstanding leave entitlement to enable further leave periods to be booked up to the employee's end date. If this field is blank, the employee’s outstanding leave entitlement is processed as part of the termination process when an end date is added in Employment Detail.

Note: If the processing of the employee’s outstanding leave entitlement is delayed, you must process their outstanding entitlement at a convenient time via Terminate Leave Entitlement or Bulk Absence Entitlement Terminate.

Limit RLB Start Date

Enter Y to cap the rollback start date with the employee's current start date if the calculated rollback start date is prior to the employee's current start date. This ensures absences entered against a previous employment are not included in the entitlement calculation.

Rollback Specific Parameters

Override Service Start Date

Enter the override service start date using format DD/MM/YYYY. This is for rollback calculations only.
