Enables you to enter, maintain and view an employee’s disciplinary records.

Note: Before using this screen, you must have previously set up the appropriate disciplinary action types, warning levels and parameters using Disciplinary Record Parameters.

Paging Area

Date

Enter the effective date of the disciplinary action.

Type

Enter the type of disciplinary action, or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the DSCTYP narrative category.

Warning Level

Enter the level of warning given for the disciplinary action, or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the DSCWRN narrative category.

Review Date

Date when the disciplinary action should be reviewed. The default date is calculated from the review period set up via Disciplinary Record Parameters. The system applies this to the effective date of the disciplinary action.

The system automatically creates a diary reminder for the disciplinary review if it has been set up to do this.

Add Details

Click WINDOW to display Case Management Additional Details, where you can maintain further details for the selected disciplinary record.

Notes

Click window to display Maintain Note Detail, where you can enter any notes or comments you want to record.

eForm

Click window to display the eForm attached to the selected disciplinary event in the web browser.

Docs

This field is only enabled if Doc Storage is licensed. Click WINDOW to display Web Portal Doc Storage, where you can view and upload documents against the disciplinary record in Doc Storage.

Click EXPAND to display the following fields:

Completion Date

Enter the date that the disciplinary procedure is completed. Future dates are not permitted as a record cannot be 'completed in advance'. Once a completion date has been entered and the record committed or refreshed, the completed record is only viewable via Employee Case Management History.

Removal Date

Enter the date when the disciplinary action should be deleted from the employee’s record. You can delete employee disciplinary records using Disciplinary Records Batch Deletion.

Post Number

Enter the post number of the relevant post that is current for the employee as of the disciplinary record start date, or select one from the drop-down list. Results in the list are filtered according to the user's security profile.

Manager Responsible

The employee number and name of the manager responsible for the disciplinary action. Click WINDOW to display Employee Search, enabling you to search for the manager’s employee number.

Employee’s Representative 1

Enter the name of the person representing the employee in the disciplinary action, or, if they are an employee, select one by clicking window to display Employee Search.

Emp No

Enter the employee number of the representative if they are an employee. The employee number will appear by default if the representative was selected via Employee Search.

Document Reference

Enter the reference number of the document relating to the disciplinary action.

Disciplinary Type

Display only. Description of the disciplinary type.

Warning Level

Display only. Description of the warning level.
