Employee and Manager Actions
Enables you to configure employee and manager level actions and categories that are available to employees and managers linked to this security profile. Specified actions and categories are then accessible from the Me tab (employee level) or the My People tab (manager level) in the navigation panel.
A category consists of one or more actions; an action performs a specific task such as displays a module or a form within a module, such as the holiday request form.
Note: You must configure security details before employee and manager actions in order to provide access to the required modules and process groups. You cannot define an action for a module or process group unless permission has been granted in Maintain Dashboard Security.
To access the Employee Actions window (MD95G91), enter fast path HRPROFILE and select the Profile Id. Select MyView and then Dashboard from the navigation panel and then select Employee Actions.
To access the Manager Actions window (MD95G91), enter fast path HRPROFILE and select the Profile Id. Select MyView and then Dashboard from the navigation panel and then Manager Actions.
Default Action
System Action
Enter the text as you want it to appear in the navigation panel for the Team Selector action in the Dashboard.
Order
Display only. ResourceLink automatically includes either Dashboard (Employee Actions) or Team Selector (Manager Actions) as the first action in the navigation panel.
Hide My People Tab
Select this check box to hide the My People tab within the MyView Dashboard for employees linked to this security profile.
Upload Employee Photo
Select this check box if the employees and managers linked to this security profile are to have permission to upload employee profile photos via the MyView Dashboard or Team Selector.
Paging Area
Label
Enter the text as you want it to appear in the navigation panel for this action or category.
Order
Enter the 2-digit sequence number to specify the order (lowest number first) in which this action or category should be displayed. This defaults to the next available number, but can be changed if you need to reorder actions and categories.
Type
Enter A if you are creating an action or C if you are creating a category, or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the ACTYPE narrative category.
Description
Display only. The description of the selected type. Actions display further details about the action type once it is defined in the following window.
Details
This field is only enabled for actions. Click window to display Action Details, where you can specify further details about the action that should be performed.
Actions
This field is only enabled for categories. Click window to re-display this window for the new category, where you can create the actions that you want to include in this category.

Click this button to display Security Profile Directory Tab Configuration, where you can configure the Directory tabs and field settings specific to this security profile. This will override settings defined in Directory Tab Maintenance.
